Day 1

Pick up from the Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where a African mamba representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel included in your package. The hotel offers everything needed for a pleasant stay: comfortable rooms, hot water, courteous staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, a briefing with our managers will ensure you’re fully prepared for the climb.

Private tour packages include group-shared airport transfers, with additional fees for individual transfers. Please coordinate your group’s arrival and departure times to avoid extra costs.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire NP

You will be picked up from your hotel and embark on a fantastic journey to Tarangire National Park, where you'll enjoy a game drive while carrying lunch boxes. After exploring the park, you'll return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic giant baobab trees. The park offers diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, with the Tarangire River serving as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. You may witness lions stalking prey or leopards lounging in the trees above. This group joining safari ensures a shared, unforgettable experience!

Day 3

Lake Manyara NP then Arusha

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel and take you to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting game drive, with a picnic lunch along the way. Afterward, our driver-guide will transfer you to Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, or your hotel, where the safari will come to an end.

Lake Manyara National Park spans around 330 square kilometers (127 square miles), with up to 200 square kilometers (77 square miles) covered by the soda lake when the water levels are high. It’s a fantastic spot for bird watching and offers an excellent ecosystem for wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, you’ll also get a chance to stretch your legs at the hippo pool and observe these fascinating creatures.

Breathtaking experience

Amazing safari!

We chose African Mamba Safari and it was really perfect! We booked 6 days/5 nights, Nassibu organized us the whole way: we visited Tarangire Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We slept in tents but not panicked, it was still comfortable and we slept well. (Note, there is not always hot water in the campsite and a lot of dust so remember to take wipes to cool off if needed but honestly it didn't bother us at all, it's part of the adventure!)
