3-Day Unforgetable Safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro

La ruta Marangu o “Coca-Cola” es la ruta más popular en el Kilimanjaro en la actualidad. Es la única ruta donde las pernoctaciones son en cabañas. Esto hace que Marangu sea una buena opción para hacer senderismo durante la temporada de lluvias.

La ruta comienza en el sureste del monte Kilimanjaro. La entrada a la ruta, Marangu Gate, está bastante cerca de nuestra base de escalada en Aishi Machame Hotel. El viaje hasta allí dura aproximadamente 1,5 horas.

Esta ruta presenta un sendero bien transitado que atraviesa todas las zonas climáticas, desde la selva tropical hasta el hielo eterno, y también lo invitará a paisajes africanos pintorescos.

Al ser la más popular y la menos costosa, la ruta puede estar concurrida en julio-septiembre y diciembre-marzo.

Se recomienda encarecidamente una opción de 6 días sobre la de 5 días para una mejor aclimatación.

Day 1

Pick up from the Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where a African mamba representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel included in your package. The hotel offers everything needed for a pleasant stay: comfortable rooms, hot water, courteous staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, a briefing with our managers will ensure you’re fully prepared for the climb.

Private tour packages include group-shared airport transfers, with additional fees for individual transfers. Please coordinate your group’s arrival and departure times to avoid extra costs.

Day 2

Arusha to Central Serengeti NP

Your unforgettable journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Arusha town or its surrounding areas by our experienced safari team—comprising your driver-guide and professional cook. From there, you'll head straight to the iconic Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands along the way.
After completing park entry formalities, your expert guide will take you deep into the vast, wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti, offering incredible wildlife-viewing opportunities. As evening falls, you’ll arrive at a designated campsite in the heart of Central Serengeti, where your tents will be set up. Relax and unwind as our skilled cook prepares a delicious hot meal to end your first day on safari.

Day 3

Serengeti Then Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early morning breakfast, your adventure begins with a thrilling safari through the iconic Serengeti National Park—widely regarded as one of the greatest wildlife destinations on Earth. Accompanied by an expert guide, you'll journey across the vast savannahs where predators roam freely and herds of prey move in unison, offering a true glimpse into the raw beauty of the African wilderness. The day's itinerary is tailored to highlight the most captivating wildlife encounters and seasonal spectacles based on your specific travel dates. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you’ll bid farewell to its golden plains and head toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll spend the night perched on the rim of the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater then Arusha

On the last day of your trip with us, you will have an early breakfast before descending into the 610-meter-deep Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is renowned for its high density and diversity of African wildlife, including the endangered black rhinoceros. A guided game drive of up to six hours is recommended to complete your exploration of the 260-square-kilometer caldera. In the late afternoon, you will exit the crater and drive back to your preferred drop-off point in Arusha, where your guide will bid you farewell.

Amazing safari!

We chose African Mamba Safari and it was really perfect! We booked 6 days/5 nights, Nassibu organized us the whole way: we visited Tarangire Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We slept in tents but not panicked, it was still comfortable and we slept well. (Note, there is not always hot water in the campsite and a lot of dust so remember to take wipes to cool off if needed but honestly it didn't bother us at all, it's part of the adventure!)
