On this day you will be picked up from the airport either the Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, will then drive to Tulia spa & boutique hotel once you arrive & settled in, your guide will arrive briefly after to brief you on the hike, what to expect day by day as well as checking if you have all necessary gears for the hike.

After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. First you will stop in Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before heading to Tarangire. The driving is along Masai steppe, shopping centres & many village.

Tarangire is famous for its huge Baobab trees & large elephant population, you may expect to spot heads of, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, many antelopes & the giant African elephant. For bird watchers Tarangire is the place over 400 bird species have been recorded here which includes the rare species of Ash Staling, Great Kudu & fringed Eared Oryx are also among rare animal species found in the Park.

Predators like lion, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals & the ever- mysterious leopard are also inhabit this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire Lake Manyara ecosystem which include up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and about 30,000 zebra. Late afternoon drive to Ngare Lodge close to the park for sunset watch, dinner & overnight.

After breakfast you will drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater and continuing as far as the eye can see, the vast view of the Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plain" and is inhabited by more than 2 million wildebeest and other wildlife. From January to April the wildebeest, plains zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle give birth to their calves. Large predators including lions, cheetah, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackal, monkey, baboon, and African hare also inhabit the area. There are also over 500 species of birds. After this exciting game drive, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend down a steep track into the caldera to enjoy your last game drive. You will experience a breathtaking range of animals and birds. The caldera (a collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) to over 500 species of birds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater and then make your way back up the crater rim in the afternoon. You will then drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This is where your safari will end.
