Day 1

Pick up from the Airport

On this day you will be picked up from the airport either the Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, will then drive to Tulia spa & boutique hotel once you arrive & settled in, your guide will arrive briefly after to brief you on the hike, what to expect day by day as well as checking if you have all necessary gears for the hike.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (distance from Arusha is about 120 km, which takes about 2-3 hours depending on road conditions).
Game drive in Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large herds of elephants, as well as other wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and more.
Lunch break at a picnic site within the park.
Continue with a game drive in the afternoon before leaving the park.
Drive to Karatu town for overnight stay (distance from Tarangire to Karatu is about 65 km, which takes about 1-2 hours depending on road conditions).

Day 3

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning breakfast at the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Crater (distance from Karatu to Ngorongoro is about 30 km, which takes about 1 hour).
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, which is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses).
Lunch break at a picnic site within the crater.
Afternoon game drive in the crater.
Late afternoon ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha (distance from Ngorongoro to Arusha is about 190 km, which takes about 3-4 hours depending on road conditions).
